This month we also wanted to shine a light on Refugee Action. Currently, the UK Government are trying to pass the Nationality and Borders Bill — a bill which represents the biggest attack on the refugee protection system that the UK has ever seen, as it will close the door to desperate people who arrive in the UK to seek safety. It’s vital to ensure we do all we can to support charities like Refugee Action, as after all, the right to safety is a basic human right.
