FUTURE RHYTHMS PRESENTS: HKCR TAKEOVER @ SOHO HOUSE HONG KONG
Our first ever Future Rhythms night took place this October! Teaming up with Hong Kong Community Radio (HKCR), the night focused on supporting HKCR affiliates—past and present. On the evening we had Hong-Kong’s own Kelvin-T, who brought the cutting-edge alt club sounds he’s famously known for! Next up we had HKCR veteran and global club producer WRACK, followed by a striking audio-visual performance from previous HKCR affiliates, Tokyo-based rising alt-pop duo—tamanarman. We wrapped up the night on a high with a sneaky guest appearance from London-based underground club legend—Manara.
Future Rhythms founder and HKCR resident Tanya Katoch was given the opportunity to use Soho House Hong Kong’s space for one evening—and so it made perfect sense to use the opportunity as a way to pour into Hong Kong’s grassroots scene with a HKCR takeover, ensuring 100% of ticket sales went directly to the acts and HKCR.
